Job Description
Perform accounting and analysis functions for the Eaton Center (EC) Reporting & Analysis team to ensure compliance with established internal and external accounting guidelines and requirements, including GAAP and internal controls, and ensure the integrity of ledgers is maintained.  Support department in on-going Sarbanes-Oxley initiatives.   
Accounting responsibility for multiple corporate ledgers, including balance sheet, miscellaneous P&L, and financial hedge transactions.  Account for treasury transactions including intercompany grid notes and loans, and accounting of the net settlement of intercompany US Ledgers monthly payment activity across AR, AP and GL systems.  Act as contact for ledger recharges and Oracle entries for EC departments and domestic ledgers. Manage and record monthly recurring and allocation entries.
Participate in monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and assist in resolution of variances.  Manage and take ownership of reviews of balance sheet account reconciliations, including the detailed analysis and the follow up with the ledger owner.
Participate in 2nd Level Balance Sheet reviews of corporate ledgers in the Americas.  Collaborate and assist in the overall process owned by the Controller’s Team.
Participate in Treasury lead activities to implement Quantum for recording and reconciling cash transactions, and for the conversion of existing cash/bank accounts to new cash/bank accounts. 
Collaborate and consult in solutioning/implementing standardized cash reconciliation processes.
Provide support/resource to Operations Reporting team of Reporting and Analysis.
Provide information and analyses for management decision-making. Gather and analyze data for special and ad-hoc reporting.
Assist with the recommendation, development, and implementation of process improvements in support of departmental goals. 
Essential functions
Perform ledger activities (journal entries, allocations, reconciliations and reviews) to ensure compliance, completeness, and accuracy. 
Perform analyses/reconciliations of balance sheet and miscellaneous P&L on a monthly basis, and review and resolve variances. Provide feedback and guidance to ledger owners based on findings.
Assist/recommend process improvements in support of department goals. 
Manages correct recording of EC intercompany liabilities and balancing of accounts with intercompany trading partners.  Work effectively with intercompany trading partners to ensure invoices are issued and recorded correctly. Work with FSC to resolve delayed payments.
Have an understanding of GAAP and SOX and internal policies and how they affect the ledger.
Collaborate and consult in transition of Treasury FBAR replacement and reporting.
Perform Operations Reporting assigned tasks including Flash Report, Actual Sales and Profit analysis, Capitalized spending reporting
Manages and records proper recurring and allocation entries for Ledger 0004.
Support RADAR/forecasting processes as needed.
Provide backup support for various transaction functions within the department
Provide training and guidance to ISSC peer(s) performing account reconciliations and accounting transactions.
