EIEC has an opening for Engineering Manager (Filtration) within Hydraulics division. This position?s focus is to lead team of Product, Application Engineers & CAD Designers to support Sustaining Engineering as well as New Product Design & Development for Filtration products ? Bag Filters, Strainers, Seperators etc. Role involves: (1) Providing leadership for the Filtration Engineering team in EIEC Filtration group. (2) Maintain close liaison with Global Operations during the development and maintenance of products to insure smooth execution, new product introductions, conformance to product specifications, and year over year cost outs. (3) Provide support to drive overall strategy for sustaining engineering, sales order support, development of new products, systems, process and capabilities to deliver quality products on-time in line with the business objectives (4) Interface with internal customers to conceive, develop, execute and communicate plans. (5) Synergizes engineering capabilities across groups within Filtration group and with other groups in EIEC. (6) Ensure drawing compliance with drafting standards & protocols per the Drafting Policy. (7) Implements QOS containments based on the quality operating system. (8) Maintains a project log to facilitate project workflow. (9) Resource allocation & ensure projects are completed within the required time frame. (10) Promotes and maintains a professional work environment. (11) Manages and develops people: identifies, attracts and develops key engineering talent for the organization. (12) Initiate & implement process improvements to support the Eaton Business System; APEX, Employee Survey, EBEA, NextGen PROLaunch and DFSS. <br><b>Job Qualifications</b><br> / Educational requirements : Bachelors degree in Engineering (or equivalent qualifications, Masters degree would be preferred) with demonstrated experience in leading technical engineering organization. Minimum 7 Years of relevant experience with multinational engineering organization. Specialised knowledge or skills required : (1) Strong knowledge and proven experience with pressure piping and pressure vessel design and construction, including a working knowledge of ASME Section VIII, ASME B31.1 and B31.3, ANSI and DIN flange and fitting standards. (2) Working knowledge of CAD (2D & 3D) softwares (ProE & AutoCAD) in terms of capability & data exchange between various CAD softwares. (3) Good at engineering drawing reading. (4) Good at process improvements, implementing best practices. (5) Knowledge on Drawing quality review, Drafting practices, Engineering standards. (6) Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals.
